Classroom Game Introduction

Welcome parents to Ms. Morgan's Classroom. I hope you had a wonderful summer break. I created this scavenger hunt to help the students get to know their new classroom - to find a few areas, people, and things they will be using or seeing on a daily basis. Please help them by checking off each scavenger hunt item as they find it.

Classroom Scavenger Hunt List

1). Find the table with your name on it.

2). Find Miss Marci. Parents please fill out the information sheets.

3). Find the Computer Center.

4). Find the restroom.

5). Find the table with the markers, student please sit down and draw a picture of yourself and put your name on it. Parents please sit down and fill out information sheets. When you are finshed please put the infomation sheet and the drawing in the basket.

5) Find Ms. Morgan.

6). Find 2 trash cans.

7). Find the rug near the SmartBoard

8). Find the shelf under the white board with the pencil boxes.

9). Find your teacher's desk.

Thank you for coming to meet the teacher night and for participating in this classroom scavenger hunt. Have a great weekend and Miss Marci, Miss Donna, and Ms. Morgan will see you on the first day of school!

That is indeed a great idea and by this manner children would definitely get to know other people and the facilities of the school, which otherwise most of them won’t be getting to know. It will also help the parents to get to know about the environment in which their child would be studying.
